How to cite TPM
Suggested attribution:
Source: ThePredictionMarkets.com, prices from Kalshi and Polymarket, as of [date and time, with time zone].
- Link to the market or comparison page you used, so readers can see the current price.
- Give a timestamp. Prediction-market prices move constantly, and every TPM price shows its age.
- Describe a price as the market’s implied probability (for example, “traders put the chance at 62%”), not a forecast by TPM.
- Call a difference between venues a “price gap”. Only gaps TPM marks as actionable are tradable, and even those exclude fees.
- Name the venues. TPM compares their prices; it does not run a market of its own.
Methodology
Our methodology explains how we decide two markets ask the same question, check that they settle the same way, calculate price gaps and label freshness. Live feed health is on the status page.
